10 Killed After Russian Cruise Missile Hits Cargo Ship in Black Sea

KYIV (Terror Monitor) — The death toll from a Russian cruise missile strike on a Guinea-Bissau-flagged cargo ship carrying agricultural products in the Black Sea has risen to 10, Ukrainian authorities said on Monday.

Ukraine's state port administration said rescue workers recovered five additional bodies from the vessel, bringing the total number of fatalities to 10.

According to officials, nine of the victims were crew members, while the tenth was a member of the ship's management. The vessel had a crew of 19, consisting of Indian and Syrian nationals.

Ukraine's Navy accused Russia of targeting the civilian cargo ship with a cruise missile on Sunday evening.

The attack comes as fighting between Russia and Ukraine continues to intensify. The two sides have escalated missile and drone strikes in recent weeks, with repeated attacks reported in the Black Sea region.
