Iranian Military Claims Drone Attacks on US Bases in Bahrain and Jordan

Tehran (Terror Monitor) — The Iranian military has claimed that it targeted US military facilities in Bahrain and Jordan on Friday morning as part of the 24th phase of its “Operation Thunder.”
According to Iran’s state-run IRNA news agency, the Iranian military said it used suicide drones to strike US military facilities at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain. Iran claimed the attacks targeted fuel storage facilities, military equipment warehouses, storage shelters, and accommodation facilities for US personnel.
The Iranian military also claimed that its drones targeted aircraft hangars, maintenance facilities, and military accommodation areas used by US forces at Al-Azraq Air Base in Jordan.
In its statement, Iran warned that any action against what it described as its legitimate interests would affect the security and economic interests of other countries in the region.
IRGC Claims Destruction of Amazon Data Center in Bahrain
Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed that it destroyed an Amazon data center in Bahrain.
In a statement, the IRGC said its forces, during the 27th wave of “Operation Nasr 2,” targeted and destroyed the remaining structure of the data center belonging to US company Amazon, completing a previous operation against the facility.
Bahraini authorities have not yet commented on the claim.
The IRGC previously said on July 21 that it had targeted Amazon’s main data infrastructure center in Bahrain with several cruise missiles.
According to the IRGC, the attack was carried out in response to a US strike on Iran’s Darkhovin nuclear facility.
