Israel Strikes Hezbollah Positions in Southern Lebanon

Israeli Army Says It Struck Multiple Sites in Southern Lebanon

Beirut (Terror Monitor) — The Israeli military said it struck multiple locations in southern Lebanon on Sunday morning.

Israel said the strikes were carried out in response to two drone attacks launched by Hezbollah against Israeli soldiers.

Earlier, the Israeli military warned residents living around a building in the southern Lebanese town of Arab Salim to evacuate the area. The military said the building would be targeted because it was being used by Hezbollah.

Hezbollah has not yet issued a statement on the matter.

Israel considers parts of southern Lebanon a “security zone” and says it will not withdraw from those areas until Hezbollah is disarmed.

More than 4,300 people have been killed in Lebanon since March 2 following the start of Israeli attacks.
