Teenager Killed by Israeli Gunfire in Khan Younis

In southern Gaza, a 17-year-old Palestinian boy was killed by Israeli gunfire near the Qizan al-Najjar neighbourhood in Khan Younis, according to medical officials.

Another Palestinian was killed in a separate shooting incident in the Zeitoun neighbourhood, east of Gaza City, bringing the reported death toll from Tuesday’s incidents to at least four.

The Israeli military did not immediately comment on the two shooting incidents, Reuters reported.

The latest deaths have added to the toll of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire came into effect, with residents continuing to face the threat of airstrikes and gunfire despite the agreement.

Palestinian Family Member Says Fighting Has Not Stopped

Mahmoud Yassin, the brother of one of the victims, said the ceasefire had not brought an end to the violence experienced by Palestinians in Gaza.

He said targeted killings were continuing and that shelling had not stopped, expressing frustration over the gap between the ceasefire agreement and conditions on the ground.
