Islamabad (Terror Monitor) — In Pakistan’s restive Balochistan province, security forces have killed 10 militants allegedly belonging to the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) and arrested two female suicide bombers along with a facilitator, according to the military’s media wing.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said security forces carried out multiple operations in different areas of Balochistan, killing 10 suspected militants and arresting two female suicide bombers and their facilitator.

According to ISPR, the operations were conducted over the past 48 hours in Surab and Mastung districts based on intelligence information.

The military said three militants were killed in Mastung district, while two female suicide bombers and their facilitator were arrested during the operation.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, ISPR said security forces targeted militant hideouts in Surab district, killing seven suspected militants.

The military said weapons, ammunition, and improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were also recovered during the operations.

ISPR added that clearance operations are continuing in the area to locate and eliminate any remaining militants.
