PESHAWAR (Terror Monitor) — Armed terrorists abducted six police personnel, including Station House Officer (SHO) Ahmad Shah, in the Sararogha tehsil of Upper South Waziristan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Tuesday.

According to the District Police Officer (DPO) of Upper Waziristan, SHO Ahmad Shah and his team were returning from the site of an explosives-related incident when they encountered a roadblock set up by armed terrorists.

Police said the attackers stopped the police vehicle and abducted SHO Ahmad Shah along with five other officers, taking them to an undisclosed location.

The DPO confirmed the incident and said police and security forces have launched a search operation to recover the abducted personnel. Security checkpoints across the area have also been reinforced.

He added that an investigation is underway and all available resources are being used to trace the terrorists responsible for the abduction.

Police officials said there has been no contact with the abducted officers so far, raising serious concern among their families.

Following the incident, security has been placed on high alert across Sararogha and surrounding areas, while law enforcement agencies continue to monitor the situation closely.
