Russian Missile Strike in Ukraine Kills Five Steel Plant Workers

Kyiv (Terror Monitor) — A Russian ballistic missile strike on a steel plant in Ukraine’s eastern Dnipro region has killed five people and damaged infrastructure, including production facilities. Steelmaker Metinvest said on Saturday that all operations at the plant had been suspended following the attack.

In a statement, the company said the strike was “another attack on Metinvest’s civilian steelmaking facilities” and further evidence of what it described as Russia’s systematic attacks on Ukraine’s industrial infrastructure.

According to Metinvest, the iron ore and steel produced at the Comet steel plant were intended entirely for civilian use.
