Pakistan’s military says 10 militants were killed in two separate security operations in South Waziristan and Dir districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including eight militants who were killed after an attempted attack on security posts in Azam Warsak.

An explosion at a restaurant near Moscow’s Kudrinskaya Square killed three people and injured 15 others, according to Russian state media. Investigators said the blast occurred after a woman carrying an improvised explosive device was stopped by a security guard, triggering the explosion.
