Islamabad (Terror Monitor) — 10 BLA militants killed in security operation in Balochistan’s Khuzdar
Ten militants affiliated with the outlawed Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) were killed and several others injured during a security forces operation in the Shor Parod mountain range in Khuzdar district, Balochistan, security sources said.
According to the sources, security forces launched the operation after receiving intelligence about the presence of BLA militants in the mountainous area. The militants’ positions were surrounded before security forces carried out an operation against them.
The sources said 10 militants were killed and several others injured during an exchange of fire.
Security officials told Terror Monitor that the militants killed in the operation belonged to the outlawed BLA.
Pakistan refers to BLA militants as Fitna al-Hind (“Indian Mischief”) in its official terminology.
