Pakistan: 11 Terrorists Killed in Security Operations in Balochistan

Quetta (Terror Monitor) —Eleven terrorists have been killed in security operations in Pakistan’s restive southwestern province of Balochistan, security sources said.
According to the sources, security forces killed 11 terrorists in separate operations in the districts of Panjgur and Chagai.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces for what he described as successful operations in the two districts.
Security sources said five terrorists were killed during an operation in the Gwargo area of Panjgur. A large quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from their possession.
Six other terrorists were killed during operations in the Aminabad and Siah Chang areas of Chagai, the sources said. A large quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered during the operations.
Naqvi said the operations reflected the security forces’ commitment to protecting national security.
“The nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the security forces in the fight against terrorism,” the interior minister said.
Security sources said operations against terrorists are continuing across Balochistan.
