Trump Says He Is at Decision Point on Iran as Tehran Warns of Severe Response

Washington, D.C (Terror Monitor) — U.S. President Donald Trump has said he is at a decision point on major issues concerning Iran, while Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters has warned that any new U.S. attack or involvement by regional countries would trigger a severe response.

Speaking to Fox News, Trump said he was in the process of making decisions on what he described as highly significant developments involving Iran in the near future.

Trump also issued a stark warning to Tehran, saying, “My question is when and how do I destroy the whole country?” He added that Iran would be better off taking the “right action.”

Trump’s remarks came after Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, the command center of Iran’s armed forces, warned the United States and regional countries against taking what it described as a “wrong step.”

The Iranian military headquarters said it had received information indicating that the United States was preparing to launch renewed military action against Iran with the support of some countries in the region.

According to the statement, Washington had decided to resume operations against Iran with the consent, or “green light,” of several regional countries during a joint meeting held in a European country.

The Iranian military body did not identify the countries allegedly involved or name the European country where the meeting was held.

Khatam al-Anbiya also warned regional countries that if they participated in or supported a U.S. attack, they would be considered participants in the operation and should not expect restraint from Iran’s armed forces.

The headquarters further warned Washington that, in the event of an attack, all U.S. military facilities and interests in the region would be subjected to what it described as continuous, effective and severe attacks without restrictions or regard for political considerations.

Iranian Media Links Warning to Germany Meeting

Iran’s Tasnim news agency, which is affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, later claimed that the Iranian military warning was referring to a secret meeting held in Germany several days earlier between senior U.S., Israeli and Arab military commanders.

Tasnim said senior military officials from the United States, Israel and several Arab countries attended the meeting.

The report followed an earlier report published by U.S. news website Axios on September 15, which said the meeting had taken place about a week earlier.

According to Axios, senior military commanders from the United States, Israel and several Arab countries met in Germany to discuss the war with Iran and the broader escalation in the Middle East.

The countries reportedly represented at the meeting included the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan and Egypt.

The Arab governments did not publicly comment on the reported meeting. U.S. Central Command, however, confirmed that the meeting took place.

Axios reported that the meeting was organized at the request of U.S. Central Command commander Admiral Brad Cooper, who told participants that the United States would not withdraw its forces from the region.

However, available reporting has not established that the meeting resulted in a specific agreement to launch a new military operation against Iran.

Rising Tensions

The statements come amid heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran and growing concern over the possibility of renewed military action against Iran.

Trump’s latest comments suggest that major decisions regarding Iran remain under consideration in Washington, while Tehran has publicly warned that any new U.S. attack could trigger attacks against American military positions and interests across the region.

The Iranian military headquarters’ claims about preparations for a renewed U.S. attack have not been independently verified, and neither Washington nor the regional countries named in the reports have publicly confirmed that they agreed to participate in a new offensive against Iran.
