Pakistan Successfully Tests Extended-Range Fatah-4 Ground-Launched Cruise Missile

ISLAMABAD (Terror Monitor) — Pakistan has successfully conducted a test of the extended-range variant of its indigenously developed Fatah-4 ground-launched cruise missile system, the military’s media wing said.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Fatah-4 is an extended-range version of Pakistan’s locally developed ground-launched cruise missile system.

The military said the missile is equipped with advanced avionics and enhanced navigational support, enabling the weapon system to engage targets at extended ranges with a high degree of precision.

Senior Pakistan Army officers, along with scientists and engineers involved in the development of the system, observed the test, ISPR said.

President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and the service chiefs congratulated the scientists and engineers on the successful test and expressed satisfaction over the achievement.

The latest test underscores Pakistan’s continued efforts to strengthen its precision-strike and indigenous defence capabilities.
